john & kari | fotoluxx weddings

After meeting Kari at our first consultation, I knew right away that I was going to have a great time taking photos with her and John. And after this engagement session I'm even more excited for their wedding! We headed over to downtown Riverside for our engagement session.

room with a view

I'm taking another trip up to Seattle the first weekend of May. I'm really excited. This is the view from Colby's living room. Ooooh fancy!

a very merry unbirthday

I've been wanting to go to Disneyland. Sometimes you need a ride on the teacups where you spin so fast you think, this time I'm totally gonna barf.

you say goodbye and i say hello

I've had a strange day. You know one of those days where you're not sure if it's been a good or bad day, it just is. Well, that's been my day. So when I thought of what to post today, I thought, what always brightens my day? Food! Good food! Usually, I don't take pictures of my food, I feel like too much of a dork busting out the big ol Canon, but on these two separate occasions I HAD to! Both are from my trip to Seattle. The first being udon noodles with tofu and veggies in an amazing garlic sauce. I had these noodles twice on my trip, they're from a vegetarian restaurant in Capital Hill called In the Bowl. SO GOOD. Next is the best damn clam chowder I've ever had, for real, in my life. Pike Place Chowder is in the Back Alley of the Pike Place market. After a bit of market shopping I stopped by for a cup of chowder and felt blissfully at home. It was the perfect remedy to a long and chilly shopping day. YUM.

the good and the bad

It's been quite some time since my last post but that doesn't mean I haven't been taking pictures! I have tons of pictures to share and even though I want to share them in chronological order, I think it'll be more interesting to pull favorite shots from here and there. Yeah?

First up, I saw these two while waiting for the bus in Seattle. It's good advice.
